Oh, did I mention that i go to a private school in California, and we have to wear skirts in our uniform because it’s too hot to wear pants. I hate the stares that I get at my legs, and then explaining to my friends that it’s not contagious. I have all these scars, too.
Once, in middle school - I went to a Catholic school - we were watching a video with people with leprosy and this girl in my class said “hey, their legs look like yours.” it was the most embarressing moment of my life.

Ahh I have eczema, too! My whole life, I’m 16 now, I’ve had eczema really bad on my legs. Especially behind my knees, except now, it’s on my hands and wrists and all over my legs instead of just behind my knees! It sucks; some years are worse than others and I don’t know why.
And everyone always says that it’s worse in the winter.. but mine is really bad in the summer, too! If i sweat, I get really hot and it makes me more itchy. I hate it!

Eucerin(that’s the correct spelling) is a cream type lotion that you can find at walgreens or walmart. It’s about $8 for a container. It has no perfume, and won’t clog pores(you can put it on your face and it won’t give you acne). Eucerin is thick and kind of greasy…but i have very dry skin also. Good luck!

know this is my 3rd post, but I suffered so much! I’m a real pretty girl, but this made me so self conscious and UGLY.:( Now I’m better than ever! 
I figured all this out on my own because the doctors would just prescribe and never found what was causing it. I’m going to be a nurse and also have a biochemistry degree…so I have some science background. I realized my eczema outbreak was allergy related. Please try these products. They’re mild. was by trial and error I found them. Good luck.

burt’s bees shampoo…no sodium laurl sulfate(IT’s bad for eczema, the same thing in toothpaste).
ALL laundry detergent(no colors or additives)

I’m dark brown skin tone and it was black around my lips and even my lips. stop the coffee, try chai tea,and changed my toothpaste. I use Tom’s natural it doesn’t have sodium lauryl sulfate. Watch out for this product.

i had eczema for 10 yrs. all these years i suffer mentally n physically. especially im a girl, so i manage to fight it by controlling very healthy diet n exercise. now, i didnt need any medicine at all, just have to keep myself happy thn skin really improves.

I’ve had eczema for fourteen years & it sucks going to school with it raw & burning during Winter. I get it so bad on my arms , legs and stomach and especially in my joints but my doctor gave me this cream called triamincolone acetonide and I use that along with a scar cream from WalMart , vaseline and Vaseline lotion. It’s been cleared up for about six months now & my scarring is FINALLY going away .. Hope that helps someone ! (:

I see people all around the world trying to solve the same problem - I suffer from very itchy form of atopic eczema. I became so nervous that I had to take Neurol (anxiolitikum). Many creams and a lot of medicine = no effect. Just more depression and desperate moods. :-((((

I was just diagnosed with this yesterday. I have nummular eczema, errrrrr. I have it on my ankle, both legs, my hip and both arms. The spots have been there for months. I hope it doesnt spread to my face. The cream my doctor gave me made my skin go pale where I applied it, so I have white circles everywhere… what the !!!!??
